Beef Moussaka- (GLUTEN-FREE)

THE MENU:

South African Spiced Butternut Squash Soup (gluten free)
- is close to the top of the list of South Africa's favorite cold-weather comfort foods. With its gorgeous sunset color, beautiful rich flavor and a touch of cinnamon.

Bobotie-A Classic South African Casserole (gluten free)
(pronounced ba-bo-tea) is made with ground beef seasoned to perfection and a creamy, decadent topping.

Potjiekos (South African Hodgepodge Stew)-(gluten free)
-literally translated "small-pot food", is a dish prepared outdoors. It is traditionally cooked in a round, cast iron, three-legged cauldron.

Cape Malay Chicken Curry-(gluten free)
- is known for combining sweet and savory flavors-using sweet spices like cinnamon and ginger, dried fruit (especially dried apricots), and savory seasonings like garlic and onions. Though usually served with rice, this beef stew is also great over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.

Geelrys- (South African yellow rice) (gluten free)
-is a delicious spiced rice. It gets its yellow color and lovely flavor from turmeric and curry.

Chakalaka- (gluten free)
a refreshing spicy tomato bean relish that will provoke your taste bud. Staple South African dish made from beans, fresh veggies, onions, pepper, and tomatoes. It is a straightforward and spicy recipe.

Malva Pudding cake (gluten free)
