Japanese Fish Selection

Selected based on the season and what arrives from Japan, this plate highlights each fish at its best.

Some are served simply as sashimi to showcase their natural flavor, while others are carefully prepared — seared, cured, or paired with house-made ponzu jelly — to bring out even more depth.

Yesterday’s selection featured seared shime saba, Japanese Bafun uni, kanpachi amberjack, and Red Snapper with ponzu jelly.

By popular demand, our new Set Plates & Hot Udon are now available.

Complete meal options served with rice, soup, and a small seasonal side.

For Nabeyaki Udon and Spicy Nabeyaki Udon, we recommend adding a side of rice at the end and making it like zosui-style rice soup with the remaining broth.
Try saving the Jidori egg until the end for the zosui.

Kombu-Cured Tai Chazuke.
Three ways to enjoy.

Start with kombu-cured red snapper as sashimi.
Then place it over rice with wasabi, nori, and sesame soy sauce.
Finally, add arare rice crackers and pour warm dashi over the bowl to finish it as tai chazuke.

Extra rice is available, so you can enjoy this dish in all three stages.

Simple, delicate, and comforting — with layers of umami, aroma, and texture in every step.
