We have some exciting news!! Our newest barista will be joining us in October 🥰
For the first time, my two dreams in life are conflicting and pulling me in opposite directions. While I am absolutely thrilled about our little peanut, I am sad to say that The Common Room is officially on an indefinite pause.
What I’ve learned through opening a business while managing other life things and a full time job, is that peace, balance, and well-being are some of the most important things in life. There’s a part of me that feels the urge to “do it all” but I know that’s not possible if I want to keep those values in tact, and keep baby as healthy as can be.
I want to thank everyone that’s helped me live this glimpse into one of my biggest dreams. From family and friends that encouraged me, gave advice, solved problems, and gave up their precious weekends to help me at the markets or attend one of my events, the small business gurus at that helped me get started, the other businesses that supported mine, to all those that made purchases, or even interacted with a post on social media. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Every big and small thing means more than you know.
When I say “pause,” I truly mean it. Owning a coffee shop is still my dream, and I will get there. So for now, I’ll see you later 🤎
