The GADC will be selling these little guys over July 4th for $5 apiece. All proceeds will go toward the new bathroom renovation at Marion Park.

You can find us on Main Street before the parade or at the park throughout the day.

This year the 4th of July weekend in Glidden has so many activities going on that day including new events such as cardboard boat races, roller skating in the pavilion at Marion Park, and much more! The beer stand will also be open at the beer garden at Marion park with the fire Department selling Beer, Soda, water and pizza from 7 to 12, dj Toby will also be providing music at Marion park beer garden (music will break for fireworks). We hope to see you all in Glidden this weekend from far and near and of course don't forget to stop by the Dead Squirrel that weekend also as we have you covered with new merchandise cold drinks and delicious pizza! Check us out in the parade also 😁

There have been many inquiries about Squirrel Fest 2027. The event this year drew a larger crowd than anticipated. We appreciate the compliments received from attendees and note that several individuals were unable to attend due to prior commitments.

To answer your questions Save the date because SQUIRREL FEST 2027 is going to get better and will take place Friday June 11th, June 12th, and June 13th 2027! More details will emerge!!

Areas for improvement include enhancing parking and shuttle services, less down time in between performances just to name a few.
