BIG NEWS FROM THE BUXTON.

On September 23, The Buxton Inn will officially celebrate its Grand Reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, followed by a gala benefiting the Granville Historical Society.

Behind the scenes, we're making incredible progress every day, restoring the property, preparing the restaurant, growing our team, and getting ready to welcome guests back through our doors.

This is only the beginning.

A brand-new website is launching soon, restaurant updates are just around the corner, and we'll be sharing more behind-the-scenes progress every week.

We have been truly overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of love, encouragement, and excitement you've shared over the past few days. Reading through hundreds of your comments and messages has been both humbling and inspiring.

It's clear that the Buxton Inn is far more than just a historic building. It's a place filled with memories, traditions, celebrations, family dinners, weekend getaways, and moments that have become part of so many lives. From Granville to visitors who have traveled from across the country—and even beyond—your stories and kind words remind us just how special this place truly is.

Seeing how deeply so many people love and cherish the Inn reminds us what a privilege it is to help preserve its legacy.
Kevin and everyone involved in this restoration are working with great care and respect for the Inn's remarkable history while thoughtfully preparing it for many new memories to come.

The Inn is open and welcoming overnight guests, and we know many of you are eagerly awaiting the return of the restaurant. We share that excitement! Our team is working hard to reopen the restaurant as soon as possible.

There’s something special about the Fourth of July in Granville. 🇺🇸

Seeing our sidewalks filled with neighbors, families, friends, and visitors reminded us why places like The Buxton Inn have mattered for generations.

We're serving up a delicious Fourth of July menu featuring summertime favorites, cold beer, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Food and beverages will be served from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
