We were truly honored to partner with the Leadership Academy for the second year in a row! 🙌🏾
Today, we welcomed teens ages 14–16 into Johnson’s Kitchen and had the opportunity to share our story, how we started, the challenges we faced, and the journey of building something meaningful from the ground up. Our goal was to give them real insight, encouragement, and motivation to pursue success by any means necessary.
They received a behind-the-scenes tour of our kitchen and even jumped in to help with opening tasks, chopping fresh produce, squeezing lemons for our homemade lemonade, and helping prepare our famous red beans. After working hard, they sat down together, enjoyed a meal, and of course… they all wanted wings! 😂 So much so that we completely sold out of wings until tomorrow!
The greatest reward was seeing their excitement and hearing that two of them didn’t want to leave without grabbing an application because they’re already interested in becoming part of our team. That’s what it’s all about, creating opportunities and showing our youth that their future is bright.
Our kids are truly our future, and it’s our responsibility to help create pathways for them to succeed. ❤️
