Day is done, gone the sun, from the lakes, from the hills, from the sky; All is well, safely rest, God is near.

As many of you know, Murphy is our beloved fur baby. 🐶❤️

He has been battling lymphoma for 10 months, it finally overtook him and he is now at peace. We hope he is surrounded by all the balls he ever played with that somehow disappeared.

Departure is the hardest part. Knowing that he is now at peace, out of discomfort and pain is comforting, but having him depart from our lives is heartbreaking. 💔

We know in time that the memories will make us smile and laugh - but coming home and not seeing that happy face and wagging tail brings the sadness back, tears flow again, and the empty feeling overwhelms us.

They say - and we know - time heals, but while we are going through the pain and healing - it hurts and seems so hard.

To all of you who have had a loved one, human or otherwise, depart from you, may the memories bring a smile to your face and help fill the emptiness.

May God bless you - and us - with happy memories and the faith to know we will be together again 💕🙏🏻
