Our COO kept Mom in “administrative meetings” all night… and then promptly slept through the morning shift. 😴

Meanwhile, the bakery still had a schedule to keep — so we woke him up, handed him a homemade waffle and some milk, got him dressed, and he officially clocked in to supervise today’s deliveries like the dedicated leader he is.

Welcome to small business life with a toddler boss. 😂

Behind every batch of baked goods is a little family doing real life together — early mornings, late nights, snack negotiations, and all. And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

A very adorable little girl is celebrating her first birthday with yummy cinnamon rolls 🥳

Three dozen fresh cinnamon rolls were made for a special birthday breakfast party, with extras packaged as sweet favors to take home. We hope her morning was filled with smiles, family, and the happiest memories.

Mardi Gras season is here, and we’re baking up our made-from-scratch King Cakes again this year — soft, sweet, and swirled with all the good stuff.

We have our two crowd-favorite flavors:
✨ Cinnamon Cream Cheese Swirl
🍓 Strawberry Cream Cheese Swirl
$20 each

Every King Cake is topped with our signature coarse sugar sprinkles — and yes, we still custom-color our sugar in-house!

Want traditional Mardi Gras colors? A school theme? A party palette? We’ve got you.
Prefer to skip food dyes altogether? No problem — we’re happy to do natural, uncolored sugar too.

We have Mardi Gras babies available this year too and can either:
• place it inside the cake for you
• or provide it on the side if you’d rather know exactly where it is before serving

We’re moving away from set pickup days this year so we can be more flexible for you — just keep in mind that we do need at least 2 days’ notice for most orders.

Fresh out of the oven — homemade kolaches stuffed with Smoked Sausage & Cheese and Jalapeño, Smoked Sausage, & Cheese. The perfect mix of soft, slightly sweet dough wrapped around all that savory goodness.

Mr. Snell is taking this first batch to work today to feed the kolache connoisseurs… fingers crossed they come back with clean trays! 😄

✨ J is for Jammie Dodgers ✨

This week’s Baking Through the Alphabet feature is a classic British treat with a Snell’s Sweets twist — homemade Jammie Dodgers!

These beauties are made with buttery shortbread cookies, sandwiched together with organic raspberry preserves and topped with the cutest little cutout so that ruby-red filling can peek through.

I don’t have the traditional British biscuit cutters, but honestly… I think they turned out pretty adorable anyway. 💁‍♀️🍪

Pretty, delicious, and perfect with a cup of tea or coffee!

🍦✨ I is for Ice Cream Bites! ✨🍦.

We’re chilling things out for “I” this week — with Freeze-Dried Ice Cream Bites! 😋

And we have some cool news (pun absolutely intended 😉) — Snell’s Sweets now has a freeze dryer! That means we’re adding a new way to enjoy our favorite homemade treats.

These little bites start with fresh, homemade ice cream made from heavy cream and whole milk, then are freeze-dried into light, crispy, melt-in-your-mouth treats that keep their flavor and freshness for ages — no preservatives, just pure deliciousness.

Our main focus will stay on homemade, simple, and quality ingredients, but we’ll also happily take requests for your favorite freeze-dried candies if you’ve been curious to try them.

Stay tuned — this is just the beginning of some really fun (and tasty) experiments in the Snell’s Sweets kitchen!

💙🥎 Sweets for the Storm Fundraiser — Success! 🥎💙

These Mississippi Storm 11U girls hustle on the field and off it — and they sure had us hustling in the kitchen too! 😅 Together, they sold 81 dozen cookies (yep, that’s a record!) and raised over $700 for their team.

We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and sweet dedication! 💪🍪

We also learned a lot about streamlining the baking process.

Huge thanks to everyone who supported the fundraiser and the amazing Mississippi Storm 11U team and helped make it such a big success. 💙
