2024 New Years Prayer!

Heavenly Father, we praise You this day as Elohim, God my Creator. You are the Author of our lives. You are the Strength of our hearts and our portion forever. You are all we need. Our heart's desire in this New Year is to grow closer to You. In knowing You better, we will know ourselves more because our identity is found in You Lord!

We want to become men and women after Your own heart. God, we ask You to help us each day carve out time to spend with You. Give useyes to see, ears to hear, a heart to receive, and a mind to understand all that You will teach us. Make our hearts tender to hear Your voice each time we meet with You.

Take Your Word and pe*****te our hearts. Create a hunger deep inside our souls for more and more of You. May nothing else satisfy us more than You.

Give us a heart of humility. If there is anything in us that keeps us from hearing You, reveal it to us. Convict us. Move us to confession. Cleanse our hearts and renew a right spirit within us so we can be in perfect fellowship with You.

Fill our hearts with Your truth. Plant it deep so that it takes root. Move us. Change us. Transform us. Empower us to live out what we hear and learn.

Every day of this New Year, make our lives one long walk of obedience in response to Your Word and Your Holy Spirit Who lives and reigns in us. Let Your love and Your Word shape our lives. This is our prayer offering. We ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
