‼️ BREAKING UPDATE
There are moments when the cost of war suddenly becomes deeply personal.
The U.S. Department of Defense has identified one of the American soldiers killed during an enemy attack at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan as Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas.
She was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 57th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 52nd Air Defense Artillery Brigade, and was serving her country overseas when she was killed on July 17.
The Defense Department also identified the second American soldier killed in the attack as 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii. According to the Defense Department, he died the following day, July 18.
Two young Americans.
Two families forever changed.
