🎤 Karaoke & Live Music Canceled This Weekend at The Black Cat 🎸

Hey friends! Just a quick update: 04/11/25 & 04/12/25

Karaoke this Friday and Saturday night’s show with the Hard Dollar Band at The Black Cat have both been canceled due to some rearranging and work we need to finish up.

But don’t worry — Jackson, KY still has a fun weekend ahead!

📍 Friday Night:
🎤 Our friends at 145 Steakout in Campton, KY are hosting karaoke — go check them out and show them some love!

📍 Saturday Night:
💥 Appalachian Mountain Wrestling is taking over Breathitt High School starting at 7:00 PM — come out and support your local favorites!
🎶 Or catch some great live music with The Jack Strong Band at the Lion's Club starting at 6:30 PM right here in town!

Step back in time to what we believe to be 1905, inside the original Black Cat Saloon. This rare photo captures a moment in history—four men at the bar, raising their glasses in a long-lost piece of Breathitt County’s past.

Who were they? What stories did these walls hold? While much of the Black Cat’s early days remain a mystery, its spirit is being revived once again.

🚨🚨🚨Due to ongoing reconstruction of our front window, we have to cancel karaoke for tonight. We hate to put a pause on the fun, but we promise it'll be worth it once the work is done!
