Mom’s kitchen was busy this morning!

🥯 We started with a batch of blueberry bagels (requested by Mister Leo). I definitely baked them for roughly 2 minutes too long, but they’re still divine!
🍔 We made a batch of hamburger buns for burger night. These were 100x better than last time!
🐓 Then we dried out our eggshells and made the chickens a mid-day treat.
🌱 Last, I tried my hand at a clean deodorant. So far, it’s working well. We’ll see how it handles the hot, Florida day tomorrow.

Thanks to a Keystone Heights local, we were able to borrow a motorized tiller! This has been so helpful with getting the ground ready for the garden🪏🪴

Once it’s all tilled, we’ll be adding a barrier for critters (mostly the dogs), an arch entryway for the loofa and sweetie tomatoes, and little beds for the watermelon, two other types of tomatoes, and onions.

This is just the start!

Friends of Interlachen FL!!! We are officially official at The Trading Post At Deep Creek!!

This has so quickly become one my favorite stores! There are tons of local vendors with homemade foods, soaps, & crafts. You’ll find antique treasures and decor items. And the staff feels like family 💕

Come check us out when you get a chance, you won’t regret it!
