I also maintain an inventory of artwork and accessories that can be used for the photo shoot and open house and if desired, rented while the house is on the market. I will prepare your home for the photo shoot and prepare a realistic plan for keeping it ready to show. I will provide you with a comprehensive prioritized list of what I think will best prepare the home for sale, allowing you to make the final decisions. I also provide Showing Checklists for every room which you can keep on hand for scheduled showings. Having bought and sold several homes of my own, I know the value of the checklist! As a former marketing, advertising and catalog production professional, I know you first have to draw potential buyers to your “product”. In today’s online shopping environment, photos of a well-prepared home have the potential to either draw buyers to a property or turn them off. Staging for the photo shoot is different than staging to show because clutter is exaggerated in a 2-dimensional format. So we may take the microwave and Mr. Coffee off the counter for the shoot, but we’ll put them back if the sellers are living in the home. Additional marketing services include photo selection and writing / editing the property description.
