The name Back Acre Boards comes from my roots—growing up on a few acres in the country, where summers were spent with family at the lake and life moved a little slower. Now, living out on acreage with my own family, this business is a reflection of that same spirit: relaxed, heartfelt, and grounded in togetherness. I'm Kendyl, the hands and heart behind Back Acre Boards. Whether I’m arranging cheeses or crafting the perfect chalk letter, I pour myself into every detail. I’ve always found joy in gathering people, feeding them well, and making them feel at home—and now, I get to share that joy with you. From thoughtfully paired bites to handwritten delights, everything we create carries a piece of that story—and a whole lot of heart.

What. A. Weekend.

Back Acre Boards was busy celebrating some pretty special moments:

Every event was completely different and that's one of my favorite things about what I do. Whether it's a birthday, graduation, wedding, corporate event, or just an excuse to gather with friends, I love creating something unique for each occasion!
