Welcome....Welcome....Welcome to 207 new followers over the last 6 days. A big thank you to the ever so cherished loyal customers who are truly a family.

We understand you have choices for baked goods and fortunately our area has sone great bakers. Lamberts, Wildflower, Heidies and Magpies are legit bakeries who do things right and offer great products. We encourage you to patronize all local bake shops, especially those who operate from a commercial kitchen solely dedicated to the preparation of food for the public.

We welcome those who have re-located to the area from other places. Should you need a bakery, feel free to reach out.

A new piece of equipment added to the kitchen today. Shane and myself made a road trip to pick up this long awaited chocolate coating and enrober. Yes, we will have the capabilities to chocolate coat most any of our baked goods and produce our chocolate/fudge cake tortes. Lots in store for the fall season. More tools being added..

BCB to be closed beginning Thursday Sept 17 through Wednesday Sept 30. Will re - open Thursday October 1. I'll be in London training with artist baker Leo the Baker working on breads, lamination and other artisan baked goods.

Should you have orders that require those delivery dates, I can make arrangements to have it complete prior to my departure and arrangements for delivery or pick up.

Downtown bakery update:
Folks, this is a slowwww and expensive process to renovate the basement of the former Boyd Thomas clothing building downtown Maryville. The building was a Kentucky Fried Chicken years ago and the drains are......trash...just trash. Well need ro rip up some concrete, run new drain lines etc. Then we have code compliance and all that fun stuff. So who knows when we will be in there.

However, I've attached a couple renderings of the proposed final results of the exterior.
We are working with Jesse Baker of Tike Studios in NYC on the design.

We hope the end results are a local bakery like no other...

Also, I'm on the lookout for a potential partner in this venture. I'll need employees, but I'm interested in a person who has extensive experience who has a financial vested interest. This person could be local or from anyplace in the world that might want to relocate to East Tennessee.

I'm looking for a partner! I'm looking for a person to invest in The Blount County County as an equity working partner. . This person should have extensive experience in breads, lamination, european pastries and potentially other cultural baked goods. Our local demographics have shifted over the last few years with the influx of folks from the northeast and west coast. We are in the process of designing the new space downtown Maryville and would like to venture into this with a person who brings skills outside my knowledge of pies, cake, and typical southern style baking. I'm willing to partner or acquire an existing bakery and consolidate that to the local area. We are investing in new rotating rack ovens, sheeters and other needed equipment to make this a success.

Should you be interested or know of someone, please share this. We would help with relocation expenses to the right person and/or put together a partnership/equity plan as well.

Our goal is to have the new location in downtown Maryville open before the 26 Holiday season. Not sure if we can pull that off, but it's certainly the goal.

We are open to carrying product lines from other bakers, chocolatiers, etc within a reasonable distance.

Excited to explore new opportunities and expand the product line up with world class products.
