Picking dewberries 🌿🧺

May’s FOTM (Flavor of the Month) is dewberry & I’m so excited about this! Think blackberries but a little sweeter because of the secret ingredient hehe!

These berries are handpicked straight from my yard, so you can guarantee the homemade syrup is going to be so fresh and yummy!

Here’s why this flavor is so special to me… Since Mothers Day falls in the month of May, I only thought it was fitting to ask my mama if she had a special flavor that she would enjoy!

She mentioned that she loved how her and my dad would walk around the house & pick dewberries around this time of the year. She never fails to mention how simple & sweet their love is & I love recognizing how it’s formed me into the person I am today!

So to honor my mama (& dad… whose birthday is also in May) i’m making something special out of the tradition that they love to do. To enjoy picking berries together & making memories! Making sweet drinks & remembering how sweet it is to have an example of selfless & simple love!
