The pastry in the display case is only the final chapter of the story.
What most people don't see is that tomorrow morning's bakery day starts long before today ends.
While most of the town is asleep, our mixers are running, dough is rising, ovens are heating, and bakers are measuring, shaping, proofing, baking, filling, frosting, slicing, and packaging—so that when our doors open, everything waiting for you is as fresh as it can possibly be.
Fresh baking isn't something you can rush.
A great loaf of bread can't be hurried. A crumb bun doesn't appear overnight. Donuts, pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads all have their own timelines, and many of them begin nearly 24 hours before they ever reach our shelves.
That's the difference between baking from scratch and simply reheating products.
It's more work. More planning. More sleepless nights.
But we believe you can taste the difference.
So the next time you pick up your morning coffee and a warm crumb bun, know that an entire team has been working around the clock to make that moment possible.
Fresh every morning isn't just a slogan.
It's a promise.

This weekend is one we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. ❤️

If you’ve been to either bakery over the past few days, you know… it was absolute madness. Long lines. Sold-out shelves. Production around the clock. A holiday weekend. A heat wave. And finally opening the doors to our newly renovated Seaside Park location.

To say we were nervous would be an understatement.

As a family business, you pour your heart into something and simply hope people will come. What happened this weekend was beyond anything we could have imagined.

You came.

You waited patiently in long lines.

You showed us kindness when we were doing everything we could to keep up.

You cheered us on, welcomed us into Seaside Park, and supported not just our business—but our family.

We had record-breaking days that pushed us to the absolute limit of what our bakery could produce. We sold out faster than we could bake. We are exhausted… but our hearts are so full.

To our incredible team—thank you will never be enough.

You picked up extra shifts, came in early, stayed late, found creative ways to park in the middle of holiday traffic 😂, worked in the summer heat, and handled every challenge with grace. There were no complaints—just people who cared deeply about taking care of our customers and each other. Watching you step up the way you did made us incredibly proud.

None of this would have been possible without you.

For our family, these bakeries are so much more than a business. They’re our livelihood, our passion, and a legacy that has been decades in the making. Being trusted to continue the traditions of a bakery that has served Seaside Park since 1946 is something we don’t take lightly, and seeing the community embrace us the way you have has meant more than we can put into words.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your patience, your support, your kindness, and for making this opening weekend one we’ll never forget.

We feel incredibly lucky to be part of these communities, and we can’t wait to keep serving you for many years to come.
