We want food! We want food! We want food!
Time has come, phase 1 plans are done, electrical gear is almost here and construction permit application goes in Monday. We started this journey 2.5 years ago looking at this property, talking about it 3.5 years ago so to see it all finally coming together off the "sweat of our brow", no partners, no bank loans hard work and savings we are thankful. Our concept is simple- food for the community, by the community supporting the community and all in the business ventures in the community. My family has been apart of this town for 5 generations as head chair of the Elks in the 80's , General contractor (some of you still have my grandfathers custom cabinets in there homes), gunsmithing, wellness center, head chair of the Lebanon Skate Park, chair on the school budget committee and more. We are not new to this community as people or are our good intentions as a family to bring the community something new, positive and from the heart. Can not wait to serve you Lebanon 🙌

Update needed and overdue. Slab Town Lebanon is still moving forward, YES. Dismiss the weeds and overgrown jungle at the moment but things behind the scenes are happening every day.

The culinary student shack will be 1 of the first 3 that open. This will allow the students while in school and over there summer break be able to hone their skills and menu ideas in a real world setting while getting paid to do so. We are hoping to spark the next culinary entrepreneur of the area that opens their own establishment.

We will be starting out with 3 spots that are 100% finished and have vendors on them while working on the bigger infrastructure for our long game of having an event center in the middle accommodating live music and ticket driven food events.

As we move through the construction phase more spots will open up as we go facilitating a larger selection of food to chose from. We are set on giving options that are not currently found in the area that are traditionally cooked, healthier food choices and special dietary restriction menus. Our goal is not to cram in the most vendors under the highest rent but to be a staple within our community giving back to it through the form of jobs, health choices and community driven events that bring us all together.

Thank you all for being patient through the process, to park some trucks on a vacant lot we bought became more of an engineer and permit undertaking than anyone could imagine. Every day we are getting closer. You will see changes to the site over the next couple weeks as we start to stage equipment. If you want more info email [email protected] to request a vendor packet.

Greek is the most popular by far across all of our platforms we posted on. What do you think about the local culinary students having a plat form to create and serve there ideas? Having a food shack as a platform for the students to come and make amazingness is in our plan. The ideas I have herd from some have been mind blowing, such new and untapped ideas waiting to be engaged. Thoughts on having culinary students fill 1 to 2 shacks for them to utilize?

What do you want to see for a food cart at Slab Town Lebanon? Greek? Italian? Middle Eastern? Ukrainian? how about Polynesian? South American? What is it that Lebanon wants out side of the current food scene? It is official we have our application into the city and are moving forward. We will be working more on reaching out to the local community with your involvement, ideas and comments in mind. Community is every thing.
