⭐ Fall Parties & Costume Parade Details! ⭐
The Parade Plan:
Our Fall parade will begin at 1:45 on Friday, 10/30! We invite families to come and watch! You will need to park where available, without blocking our bus lane, and be sure to check in through the office 🙂 We suggest getting here around 1:30.
Those that have pre-registered will be admitted first to get them through check-in and get their sticker - if you did not pre-register - you will want to be here between 1:15 and 1:30 to get in line!
We will be doing a parade route throughout the building. Families will be able to see ALL students as the Gym will be the last part of the route!
After the parade has concluded, you are welcome to join the classroom parties with your student(s).
We will also have an iPad set up to record the parade for families who cannot attend. We will post to Facebook and email a link!
Party & Costume Info:
4th Grade parties are at 1:00 due to our specials schedule.
All other parties will begin following the parade at around 2:10. (Pre-K AM: 10:15).
If you have questions about party planning, please reach out to your students' teachers to get contacts for room parents.
Please avoid bringing candy 🙂
Families may attend parties as they choose following the parade!
Families may leave with their student(s) at end of the day after checking out through the office.
An announcement will be made at 2:55 to begin wrapping up parties and for families to begin exiting the building so we can prepare for dismissal as usual.
Students are invited to wear costumes for the day. Costumes must be school appropriate, able to be worn throughout the day, no blood, and no fake weapons, as this is SMSD board policy.
Students wearing these costumes will be asked to change *Masks are permitted during the parade, but should not be a distraction or worn throughout the day
