Our team, the retail stores and restaurants we serve and the wine consuming public are all family. We work hard to share high quality wines with people interested in a unique wine consuming experience. The Italian Vine is continuously enhancing our portfolio of fine wines from all over the world. While our primary focus is Italian wine, we also offer wines from France, Argentina, Spain, the United States and more. Our owner, Mark Mcdonald, has published his July blog post on our website focusing this month on a "Climbing the Ladder" wine tasting with a winery from Abruzzo, Italy, called Vigna Madre, owned by Giannicola Di Carlo. Di Carlo is at the forefront of natural and organic winemaking and has been since the 1990’s when this practice was neither common nor popular. Join Mark & Jon at 's Italian Restaurant & Grille for First Wednesday Wine Tasting tonight! The theme this month is Southern Italy as we head south to discover the bold, expressive wines that have made Southern Italy one of the country's most exciting wine regions. From the vineyards of Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, and Sicily, this guided tasting showcases wines shaped by warm Mediterranean sunshine, volcanic soils, and centuries of Italian winemaking tradition. Experience rich reds, vibrant whites, and distinctive varietals that capture the character and passion of Southern Italy.
Cost is $15 for 5 wines & bruschetta, and all 5 bottles of wine will be available to purchase and take home too!

Join Mark tonight at Napoli's Lincoln NE on South 48th for Second Wednesday Wine Tasting. Our theme this month is “What the heck is Vinitaly?” In April we attended Vinitaly in Verona, Italy. Vinitaly is the world’s largest wine trade show and almost every Italian winery attends this show. While there, we met with many of our producers and tasted all of the gems we will share with you tonight. This is a compelling lineup to say the least.
Cost: 5 wines + Bruschetta for $15.00
