I Robert Kegel I have Started a GoFundMe account for Antonino Elia who is a longtime friend who needs help getting through an incredibly difficult stretch. Over the past year, Antonino has been hospitalized numerous times and is now recovering with limited physical ability. At 65 years old, he is also on kidney dialysis three times a week. On top of that, he is dealing with a serious diabetic ulcer and a pressure injury on his left foot.

Antonino is the sole proprietor of Piccolo Eatery in Lititz, Pennsylvania, where he has built a reputation in the local community. While he was unable to operate the business during hospitalization and rehab, the eatery fell into jeopardy. The business is now open again under his supervision and slowly recovering as customers in Lititz realize he has returned, but Antonino can only sit, supervise, and train current hires. He is not physically able to perform many of the tasks he once handled himself.

This fundraiser will help Antonino catch up on business-related costs that built up while he was away and unable to operate Piccolo Eatery. Because he depends on income from the business for living expenses, the financial strain is affecting every part of his life. His only other income is $1,100 a month in Social Security, which is not enough to carry this burden alone.

Antonino has always been a strong supporter of others and of activities in his community. Right now, he needs that same support in return. The stress of keeping his business afloat is slowing the speed and success of his physical recovery, and any help can make a real difference as he works to rebuild.

Every donation or share will help ease the pressure on him, support his recovery, and help preserve the business he has worked so hard to maintain. You learn to make a quick fresh tomatoe sauce from scratch, using imported San Marzano plum tomatoes.
Extra-virgin Sicilian olive oil, wild Sicilian oregano, Sicilian sea salt..Steak Pizzaiola eat an Southern Italian dinner from a surprisingly antipasto and a Cannolicchio for dessert.
