On this festive evening there will be treats for pups, cookies for humans and some mulled wine to warm the spirits. GABY & DALTON 8.16.25 I was so honored to make a Wedding Cake for my nephew Dalton and our new Queen Gabriella. Welcome to the family Gaby! We couldn't be more proud of both of you. What a stunningly beautiful, romantic, creative, fun, surprising wedding it was. Loved seeing you both just beaming the whole day and night. So many hoops to jump through to make the day happen for them. Not the least of which was my being allowed to make the cake for them, even though I have a CA Cottage Food Permit and Insurance, all the things required, and ingredients rules followed. In the end they loved it and a few quests were allowed some slices. did an absolutely AMAZING job coordinating the event, keeping everything on schedule, people where they needed to be, the decor! So wonderful to get to spend a few days together with you. Miss you! The Vanilla Bean & Fiori de Sicilia cake was made with organic butter and sour cream, organic regenerative eggs. The berry quick jam layer was made with a mix of local farmers market berries, The edible flowers came from my garden as well as who ALWAYS come through with gorgeous flowers delivered overnight. The blue color was achieved with Butterfly Pea Powder added to the buttercream. It was a challenge to envision a cake that would match the red, white and blue theme of the wedding but once it was in the setting it fit right in. Cheers Gaby & Dalton! Scott Brooker

Save a Husky LA River Walk! Please join Allie Bakes and Bauer Dog Days for a great cause in support of Hollywood Huskies !
DATE: Sunday 5/18
TIME: 10 AM
Come and gather with your huskies at the Bauer Pottery Frogtown Showroom. There will be delicious dog (and human!) treats provided by Allie Bakes. 
This event is free to attend. Bauer Dog Days is an event hosted by Bauer Pottery Company in Frogtown, Los Angeles. During these events, participants can bring their dogs for a special photo opportunity and receive a free dog bowl. All dogs are welcome, huskies and otherwise!
Hollywood Huskies welcomes donations in any amount. Please help them save more huskies! For a donation of $40 or more, your pup will receive a Limited Edition Hollywood Huskies LA River Walk Bandana. Hollywood Huskies merchandise will also be available for sale to support this incredible dog rescue org who has been finding homes for dogs they save from death row at shelters and off the street since 2016. They can really use our help right now! .
Before heading out on a Husky Parade along the LA  River we will take an official group photo. The beautiful Lewis MacAdams Riverfront Park is our destination, but there are many places to stop for coffee or birding or shopping along the way and on the way back.
When we return from the walk there will be plenty of time to explore and shop at the iconic Bauer Pottery Showroom and beverages to enjoy, including Mimosas, beer and wine.
