Have you heard about the MORENO???

It gets it’s name based on the color of the drink, essentially is a sparkling lemonade with coffee (secret recipe🤐🤫).

No. is not anything related to the espresso tonic or any of it’s derivates.
Is more like a awakening sensation of citrus and sweet with the right amount of sour.

Did you know: The traditional Macchiato is a shot of espresso (at Mestizo, a double!) with a dollop of foamed milk. In Italian “macchiato” actually means “stained” or “spotted”. So in the Italian translation of a Cafe Macchiato is “stained” or “marked coffee”. Newer coffee shops serve the popular “Caramel Macchiato” which is really closer to a caramel cappuccino or caramel latte then the traditional Macchiato.

Our espresso and drip coffee blends both have beans from East Java, Indonesia. The villagers in Tlogosari Village partner with the Pokmas Walida Cooperative to bring this naturally processed coffee to new markets. The coffee beans are dried on raised beds for 15-16 days and stirred once every hour before being patio dries for an additional 8 days. Then of course roasted fresh for you here at Mestizo! You will taste notes of chocolate, almond and dark fruit. ☕️
