Nancy helped lay the foundation for what Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream is today, and we’re so grateful for the legacy, heart, and joy she’s shared over the years.

For one day only, golden cone stickers will be hidden under random ice cream dishes at all nine Madison-area shoppes. Flip your dish and find one? You’ll win Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream swag. One lucky dish at one of our shoppes will have a special grand prize sticker, redeemable for free ice cream for an entire month! 🎉

This day’s celebration is extra special—it also marks our founder Nancy Deadman’s 90th birthday! 🥳 From starting it all in 1962 to helping shape Madison’s ice cream scene, we’re honored to celebrate her legacy with a day full of fun, gratitude, and golden surprises.

Our newest Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream location at the Madison Public Market is officially starting to come to life, and we couldn’t be more excited to open our doors this summer! 🎉

Well, this one got us a little teary. 🧡

We were just named Community Partner of the Year by the Goodman Community Center, and honestly, we're the ones who feel lucky.

Every year, we're proud to partner with their amazing TEENworks program on our Create a Flavor contest and to be able to contribute what we're good at (ice cream) to the thousands of Thanksgiving baskets they put together for our community.

Thank you to the Goodman Community Center team for all that you do to create opportunities, build connections, and make a difference every single day. We're grateful to be your partner!
