Two years ago, Jill Gordon asked if I could make Mickey Mouse treats for Disney Day in her kindergarten class. I was thrilled to create something new and fun. Another Disney enthusiast, Amanda Best who taught Charlotte last year and now is Charlee's teacher, has also planned Disney Days. So of course we had to make more Disney Rice Krispies treats.

Sugar cookies with buttercream icing for a baby shower over the weekend. 🍼

I am not a decorator. I do not do the typical royal icing with baby themed shapes. I don't have enough patience to teach myself the decorating techniques. I applaud those bakers that do! They require a great deal of patience and time. Thick buttercream icing tastes better to me.
