10/30- Arlo and I stocked up the farm stand at Soil Shepherd Farm this morning with Original, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Jalapeno Cheddar, and Honey Wheat Sourdough loaves! There’s a focaccia, brownies, and granola bars! Go get something delicious!

Preorders are on their designated shelf.

The bread stand in Mongo also has lots of bread and a few treats left.

Update: it looks like rain, so I moved everything down to the second and third shelves. All preorders have been picked up.
10/29- Good morning! The bread stand in Mongo is stocked! We have Original, everything bagel, jalapeño cheddar, brown sugar cinnamon, and honey wheat loaves. There’s one cranberry walnut focaccia l- it has a cinnamon honey butter glaze! Brownies and lots of granola bars- that are actually bars now and shouldn’t fall apart in your hands! Come get some while supplies last!

We located at 3105 N State road 3 in Mongo, next door to the fire hall. We accept cash and Venmo!

10/24- I heard you folks wanted more cookies! I just left a whole bunch of chocolate chip cookies and some banana bread at Soil Shepherd Farm. I would have made more Hootie Creek, but were sadly out of macadamia nuts. I promise to make them again soon! Come get some cookies and banana bread. There are still plenty of loaves for the taking too!

The farm stand has some gorgeous produce and the most tasty chicken and eggs available too! Come get something delicious.

Weekend of 10/23, 10/24, and beyond:
Who’s ready for an egg + tomato sandwich on fresh sourdough bread? How about a big batch of chicken fajitas with boneless skinless chicken breasts, onions, and bell peppers? There’s even tomatoes, jalepenos, and onions for a quick pico de gallo.

🥖 Second Breakfast Bakery is also here with lots of sourdough boules in a few flavors, Hootie Creek Cookies, and very limited banana bread loaves. Don’t forget you can preorder from Brook every week to have your goodies set aside for you.

We have hit a hard (but amazing) reality that we have outgrown our little farmstand. We are starting to shop for walk-in sheds so we can expand our stand. We will still keep our old stand out there to make into free blessing box for our community members who need help putting food on the table. New sheds are expensive though, so if you have any leads on used sheds, or if you’d like to make a donation towards a new shed, please reach out. We know we can make this happen with the help of our awesome customers!!!!

10/23- Good morning! We just stocked up Soil Shepherd Farm with lots of bread and treats! There’s original, olive za’atar, rye, and lemon blueberry. There are limited quantities of mini banana bread and everyone’s favorite- Hootie Creek Cookies! Come get some!

Liz has the stand stocked with pastured raised eggs and chicken- whole frozen birds and some cuts! Peppers, onions, potatoes- sweet and yellow, and carrots!

The bread stand in Mongo still has bread and treats too!

10/22- The bread stand in Mongo is stocked! We have mini banana breads, hootie creek cookies, and sourdough loaves- original, olive za’atar, lemon blueberry, honey wheat, and everything bagel seasoning. Come get it while it’s good!

Boy oh boy it’s fall isn’t it!!!! 🍂🍁🍃🌾
Update for the weekend of 10/17, 18, and beyond:
We have the farmstand stocked up with lots of fresh goodies!
Chicken, carrots, onions, and potatoes. If you ask me, that sounds like a pot of chicken soup!!!!! We also have some peppers, eggplant, and sweet potatoes. By the time you get here, I should have some tomatoes out as well (yes, they’re still going!)
We are back to getting more eggs, so we do have some eggs stocked up! I have plenty of everything to refill all weekend except for peppers.
