Did you know the best thing at 5 am in the morning with a hot cup a coffee before you hit the woods or shop till you drop this weekend is? It's my Apple-Cranberry Almond Kringle. Locally harvested berries from the bogs of Central Wisconsin combined with apples from Rock Ridge Orchard in Edgar, WI made into a sweet/tart fruit puree, sandwiched between several layers of my buttery flaky puff pastry.
