This is the stuff that legends are made of…

Monday morning started out like every other week, alarm clock goes off at 9 o’clock and you will yourself out of bed to start another week on the grind. Little did I know that opportunity would knock 30 minutes later.

I didn’t recognize the number so I let it go and figured if it was something important, they’d leave me a message. Well, that’s exactly what they did.

On the line was none other than Kelley Carlton, secretary for the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame. He was calling to see if we would be interested in catering this year’s Hall of Fame luncheon. I was speechless. How does this happen to someone who started this because they love dirt racing and wanted to bring home cooked food to guys and gals who get most of their meals from truck stops, concession stands and fast food joints? In case anyone was wondering, I’m still searching for that answer 😂

So with all of that being said, Ashley and I are excited to announce that we have inked a deal to be the official caterers for this year’s ceremonies. We will be on site at Florence Speedway on August 8th serving up some of the home cookin’ that got us to where we are today.

I want to end by thanking everyone that has had a hand in this. To Hall of Fame President Gerald Newton, Vice President James Essex, and everyone on the Hall of Fame board, we cannot begin to express our gratitude for trusting JT’s to provide the food for your biggest event of the year.

To all of the inductees, both past and present, congratulations on such a tremendous achievement and we look forward to serving you on August 8th🏁
