Big milestone!
Lou’s Home Cooking is now fully licensed and insured!
I’ve got my food handler’s permit and liability coverage in place, and I’m ready to start cooking for folks right here in Portland.
This is the beginning of Lou’s Food Trucks, I am starting small, cooking in your kitchen, and bringing comfort food made with care.
If you or someone you know could use a helping hand with meals, I’m ready to roll (well, cook!).
Available Wednesday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM.
Good food brings comfort. Good company brings joy. I’m here to help with both.

Big News from Lou’s Food Trucks!

Hey everyone, Lou here!
I’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and I’m excited to share that Lou’s Home Cooking, my in‑home personal chef service, is almost ready to launch as the first step of the Lou’s Food Trucks journey.

Right now, I’m down to the last two things before I can officially start cooking for folks in their homes:
- Liability insurance
- Food handler’s permit

Once those are in place, I’ll be ready to bring warm, home‑style meals straight to your kitchen, especially for seniors, busy families, and anyone who could use a little help with good food made with care.

Thank you all for the support as I build this dream from the ground up.
Lou’s Home Cooking is just the beginning, the food trucks are coming next.

Hey everyone,

This is a tough post to write, but after a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to put Lou’s Food Trucks on hold—for now. It’s not an easy choice, but due to financial constraints and the need to focus on debt consolidation, I’ve realized that pushing forward at this moment isn’t the best path. Sometimes, you have to take a step back to move forward the right way.

This isn’t goodbye forever. My hope is to relaunch Lou’s Food Trucks next year with stronger finances, more stability, and the same passion that got me started in the first place.

To everyone who has followed along, supported the journey, or even just cheered me on from afar—thank you. Your encouragement has meant more than you know, and it’s what will keep me motivated as I work behind the scenes to get things back on track.

Stay tuned, and hopefully, we’ll see you all next year for the real launch of Lou’s Food Trucks. Until then, keep chasing your dreams, and I’ll be working hard to rebuild mine.
