This weekend we made a quick turnaround and headed to the Nancy Allen Memorial Scholarship BBQ Cookoff. After the dust settled with a tough field we managed to hear our song played a couple times. Congrats to all that had success this weekend burning meats!!!

Weekend Recap! Rolled over to The Barn - Needville where Mark Ellefson puts together an incredible weekend. With some tough competition, crazy weather and good friends, we were blessed enough to come home with some hardware!

The work to dial in our program really does show and we are excited to hammer some smoke at the next one. CONGRATS to all our buddies that got their names called at a cookoff this weekend!!!

Headed over to the 39th annual Hold'Em & Hit'Em Club BBQ Cookoff this past weekend. What a great event they put on! Staff and venue were top notch and this one is now on the list for next year!
Our cook was solid allowing us to turn in some great product with a best of 7th Ribs 🐷 and 13th Pork 🐖 against a deep stacked field.

Huge shout out to all those that heard their songs and the products that keep us working! On to the next!!!

Dr. BBQ is going to enter the new year set up with a pair of drum smokers! These guys have been doing work with the comps lately and I am sure 2026 will be more of the same.

Put together a quick dinner...

- Started with a lightly trimmed H-E-B brisket

- Rubbed down with the best 360 BBQ Rubs and Gulf Coast Smoke

- Fired up the drum smoker with some clean burning The Good Charcoal Company and Gourmet Wood Products, Inc.

Flavor soak and smoke bath...slice and enjoy!

Cooked again this year at the Needville Fall Festival BBQ Cookoff. Had another solid turnout and showing. Walked in all categories including both of our kiddos in the Kids Q! Great event once again and congrats to all those who heard there tickets called!!!
