Krewe of MAC is proud to present it's 2022-2023 Queen Mrs. Lisha Kirklin.
Lisha is a lifelong resident and servant leader of Gramercy, LA. She is the loving and devoted wife of Mr. Isadore “Scab” Kirklin III, daughter of Mrs. Stephanie Allen Melancon Smith and Mr. Joseph Farlough Jr., mother of three wonderful children, Mrs. Lyric Lumar, Dillun Allen and Paije Dennison and Affectionately known as “Doo” to her only grandson Makhai L. Lumar.
Mrs. Lisha Kirklin was employed by First Student of St. James Parish as a bus driver for thirteen years and is currently employed with St. John Parish School Board where she is known for having a nurturing and compassionate demeanor with her students.
Lisha is the founder of the Krewe of Brilliance, LLC. The Krewe of Brilliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of our community’s youth, leading them to being upstanding citizens. Founding the Krewe of Brillance came out of the love for children and the act of giving back. There isn’t a child that Lisha has came in contact with that has gone without. One of Lisha’s major goals is to make sure every child is included and simply feels loved.
Lisha utilizes her talents in many ways. She can be found hosting fundraisers, decorating events, or simply volunteering at community functions on any given day.
Your life’s worth won’t be measured by the blessings you’ve acquired, but by the blessings you’ve bestowed upon others. Choosing to live with those words branded in her heart Mrs. Lisha Allen Kirklin is indeed a true blessing to our community.
