🚨Black Books Matter Fest | Announcement

This is our third year and we’re excited!

We have 50 + exhibiting authors & creatives for you to meet!

This is a celebration of OUR STORIES, OUR imaginations, OUR perspectives, OUR children, and no we will not be silent! Our insight, our experiences, will be between the pages featured at each booth, every panel.

Also, we listened to you. Each panel will require a wristband to enter. We want to ensure as many people can attend with ease, as possible. Panel announcements coming very soon so keep your alerts turned on (click that little 🔔 in the top right corner).

Our hearts are full. To the authors, thank you for saying yes! Tag a friend or an author you see and pull up to National Harbor on Aug 1st.

One Hand Don’t Clap and neither does a festival. This year’s BCLF is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors: the Hawthornden Foundation, Brooklyn Org, NYU, and the Brooklyn Arts Council alongside our programming partners, The Center for Fiction, The Rumpus, Brooklyn Museum, and MoCADA.
