Newberry Community, Let’s Kick Off the School Year Together!
We want everyone to be able to enjoy all the incredible events happening in our area this weekend! Because there is another great community event taking place, we have officially adjusted our hours so nobody has to choose between them. You can easily attend both!

Our goal this year is to set our kids up for true success before the school year even starts. This isn't just about handing over a bookbag and sending you on your way. We want to equip our youth with the actual tools, mentorship, and resources they need to confidently navigate the entire school year ahead!
To do that, we’ve brought together an amazing group of partners. You'll have direct access to:
Community Sports & Activities with Parks & Rec to keep them active and engaged.
Mental Health Resources to support their emotional well-being and growth.
After-School Programs to provide safe spaces, tutoring, and extra support when the school bell rings.

Doors open right at 10:00 AM.
PASSPORT TO SUCCESS: Children must visit each community resource station to gather their information before receiving a backpack.
Adult Supervision: All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
