We couldn't have asked for a better day! Yes, it rained...ALOT. Yes, we were soaked setting up. But.....
the town of Oceana showed up anyways! We didn't get many pictures because from 9:30am to 10:30pm we NEVER sat down! Not to mention our "gopher & photographer" was too busy arm wrestling 🤣🤣🤦♀️
We SOLD OUT of everything including 10lb of coffee bean! We came prepared with an old Appalachian cobbler recipe straight outta a Mom's recipe box, a "bougie" loaded banana pudding & more freshly roasted coffee bean you can shake a stick at!
There were so many things happening in & out of our town from the festival itself to the Summer Social at Crouch's Farm that I think everyone had an awesome day of fun, food, music & shopping!
We'd like to extend a special thank you to the Oceana Chamber of Commerce. A few weeks ago the members of the chamber came out in support with us mobile vendors in our grievance against the town council business license fee that eventually led to the reduction of the license fee. That to us speaks volumes! Because they supported us, we will continue to support them! Each member made a personal visit to each vendor to say thank you.... purchasing food, drinks & products. The chamber put on an amazing festival even with the sporadic downpours, an amazing fireworks show and the best Appalachian hospitality most small towns can only hope to have! For that, we thank each and every one of you!
Lastly (Kimber is long winded I know 🤦♀️) THANK YOU OCEANA! We honestly love you all! Even if we don't have time to speak to everyone, just know we do appreciate you and love the fact you choose our coffee trailer every single time!
