Look who’s back! We’re so excited to have Guji Hambela Wamena, an Ethiopian single-origin, available for you! When we last offered these beans back in September, coffee lovers remarked on the “juiciness”— which is a flavor trait of Ethiopian coffees. Grown 1850-2000MASL, the cherries are hand-picked by more than 200 farmers and their families before being moved to a washing station for processing. These beans undergo natural processing– they’re sorted and then spread across raised drying beds where they remain for 10-14 days. The result is a fruity flavor profile Ethiopian coffees are known for that hits your nose before taking the first sip.

Coffee tastes like coffee, but if you’re paying attention, it also tastes like a lot of other things. Guji Hambela Wamena has tasting notes of strawberry, raspberry leaf, and– as it cools– chocolate cake. It sits in the most adventurous part of our line up. As with all our small batch varieties, quantities are limited.

New design, who ‘dis? Recently, a customer mentioned he believes the true test of a coffee shop is their cold brew, and he really likes ours. We do, too, and were excited when Madeleine Gromowsky , a Barista/ Graphic Designer who works at our Benson cafe, took on the redesign of our cold brew bottle packaging.

If you’re someone who judges a book by its cover, this bottle of Cold Brew is actually as good as it looks! You can purchase this cold brew concentrate for home, add to water or your choice of milk and enjoy the smoothest cup of coffee or latte money can buy. Each bottle makes six medium drinks.

Pro tip: Return the empty bottle when you’re done and we’ll take $1 off your purchase. Beautiful packaging, great taste, and ability to recycle/save money? You’re winning ALL DAY!

RUNNERS (and runner-adjacent) TAKE YOUR MARK– next Saturday, July 25 at 7:30AM at our Downtown cafe. It’s been one year since we launched our Hardy Run Club, and what a year it’s been! To celebrate the community and camaraderie that’s formed over the last year of Saturday meet ups we’ll have demo shoes from Altra Running, good vibes from lululemon , friends from Peak Performance , and our made-from-scratch PICKLE LEMONADE available!

Meet at 7:30 and we’ll run (5k) or walk (1mile), then meet back for some patio hang time and a group pic. And did we mention the Pickle Lemonade? A great time will be had by all– can’t wait to see you!

Having trouble making a decision when trying to decide about your morning coffee companion? You can’t go wrong with a made-from-scratch cinnamon roll. Ours are baked fresh each morning and delivered to our cafes while still warm. Filled with a cinnamon/sugar mix, the rolls rise overnight, proof again for a brief moment before they are placed in the ovens around 4:30AM, then topped with a coating of vanilla sour cream frosting as they cool. The only way they can be improved upon is by adding a cup of fresh coffee (and we have that, too).

Come try one for yourself and understand what a cinnamon roll is supposed to taste like.
