I know it’s been a long time since you’ve heard from me, and it’s been intentional. I haven’t wanted to come on here and give false hope or say something was going to happen that might not happen. It’s been just over a year since I had to take a step back from the truck, between my health issues and the mechanical issues with the truck itself, but it’s finally time for some good news!!!

1, The truck is cranking up and running great every single time I crank it!(knock on wood, yeah you too 🤣)

2, Over the last couple days I have gone back over and cleaned the inside of the truck and it’s as close to spotless as possible!

3, (maybe more exciting for me, but hopefully for you too!) I updated the menu again, what should be the last time for a long time. But I sat down, racked my brain and tried to make it as cost efficient as possible for you, the customer(with as expensive as everything is right now I had to tweak things) while also trying to keep my costs manageable for myself so I can continue to give y’all the absolute BEST I can give you!

4, My inspection that I was having to constantly reschedule, due to mechanical issues, has been passed!

5, I had a leak in my roof I was unaware of that occurred while the truck was sitting, that leak absolutely destroyed my old grill… that might not sound like good news, and it sure didn’t to me at first either, but I’ve been doing my best to look at the bright side, and without that happening I wouldn’t have ended up with a top of the line, 48 inch(12 inches bigger than the old grill) 140k btu(50k btu more than the old one) grill! So I will be able to get burgers out faster, cook more burgers at a time and make them even tastier than before!

So, in the next week I will be mentally preparing myself to get it rolling, making a game plan and starting to stock the truck! I’ll start giving more frequent updates now that I see the light at the end of the tunnel!

I genuinely can’t wait to see yall out there and get back to doing what I love! I’ve missed you.

Good afternoon ladies and gents. It’s your local burger dude! My foodtruck and I have been sidelined since about March, but it’s looking like you’ll be able to catch the Pops Burgers truck on the move before years end!

I’m still moving a little slow due to my health not being 100%, but I miss my truck, I seriously miss all of you, and lastly but most importantly, I miss being in that truck doing my best to cook the best burgers you’ve ever had! As soon as I have any more details I’ll let you all know, but I’ve been quiet too long and just wanted to let you know, the wheels are turning, no longer stagnant. I’ve been in the truck the last few days cleaning, organizing and making the truck even better than it was before.

I’ll also post the updated menu. I took a few things off, added a couple things and streamlined the menu to make it easier to operate with just two people and with more of a focus on the burgers themselves.

I know it’s been a long time since yall have heard from me, and it’s really hard to put into words the disappointment I feel in myself and in the truck for being completely unreliable and a giant pain in my butt since day 1.

I’ve got a mechanic I’ve been in communication with that should be getting back to me Monday about whether or not they can physically work on the truck. That’s the problem with the thing being so big, and diesel, not many places can work on it.

So I’m gonna try this again, since it didn’t work out the last couple times.

Is there anyone that has a business or knows someone with a business, that would be willing to let us park the truck and operate it out of their lot? It’s totally self sustaining, I have my own water and generator for power. I’ve got speakers on the truck for people to hang out and enjoy themselves, and that would help the business as well. I designed the truck to be eye catching, so it will draw business wherever it’s at, plus I have a very loyal group of followers that will go wherever I go. I just need the chance.

But until I get everything figured out mechanically with the truck I don’t feel right in my heart taking on more gigs where I have to travel to the place, because one day it may run PERFECTLY and the next day it may break down pulling out of my drive way.

Thank you all in advance and I sincerely apologize for the vanishing act, this has just really taken a toll on me mentally and emotionally and I’ve felt like I’ve let everyone down. But I’m not giving up, I’m going to do whatever I can do to get this back up and running again and slingin y’all the best Dadgum burgers, fries and sauces you’ve ever slung down your gullets!

So it seems the place I was holding my breath for, to be able to park the truck, isn’t going to work out.

If anyone has a business, or knows someone with a business that could profit from a food truck on location, hit me up. Preferably this side of the bridge. I’d like to set up 4 or 5 days a week and set hours. Any help would be appreciated.

So with all the mechanical issues I continue to have with the truck, I’m looking for a spot to be able to park the truck for maybe 4 or 5 days a week. Does anyone have a piece of property they’d allow us to use or have any ideas on such a place? I appreciate the help in advance.
