Why should I purchase a membership before the store opens?
Because the Paso Food Co-op is owner-member driven. Commitment from people in the local community is crucial to opening the doors. In order to apply for grants, loans, and recruit investors to this project, we need sizable member numbers to prove there is interest, commitment, and need in the community. If we don’t have the members before the store opens, the store won’t open. It’s important for the community to step up and acknowledge that they want this store and will support it. Tomorrow, Saturday June 20th, we return to The River Walk in Paso Robles to continue our efforts to help this scenic trail/habitat look its best. We’ll be meeting behind Wendy’s (141 Niblick Rd) at 10am and we’ll be working until noon. Free pizza and refreshments will be served afterward to all our amazing volunteers.

We provide everything you’ll need to make a difference including grabbers, bags, safety vests and gloves. All we’re missing is you!
