My son asked for a cupcake cake for his 5th birthday!

Iā€™ve got some work to do on the piping but the cupcakes tasted amazing! I used my own homemade buttercream and added some extra āœØspice āœØ to my cake mix to keep them moist!

In the next few weeks Iā€™ll be trying out some new cake flavors and trying to steal away from box mix!

Welcome to Hey Batter Batter! My name is Karlee. I am new to the cake baking gang but Iā€™m excited to jump in and start making cakes, cupcakes, and all types of goodies! I will be posting my creations from time to time and will hopefully take orders in the future.

I have always loved baking and decided now is the time to make it into something!

I currently live in Perry, Iowa with my fiancƩ, two kids and two dogs. I am a full time Infection Prevention Nurse at a local county hospital. In my spare time you can find me chauffeuring one of my kids to their activities or reading a good book. My family loves to camp and be on the lake.
