Tomorrow, I'll be at Abeille Voyante Tea Co slinging tea from 5pm-9pm during Millvale Fright Night! It's a drop-in session, so you can come and go as you please! This graphic has some details on how one of my sessions works; you don't need any tickets or anything!

(This graphic was a doozy to make: so many elements on Canva are generated by their in-house AI, which is why the sitting man who represents me really doesn't look much like me. 😅 The people I used are by Leni Kauffman, who makes her art available for Canva free plan users.)

Hi! This is event 1 of 2 for this weekend! I'll be posting about the other one tomorrow, so stay tuned.

I'll be at a craft fair this weekend at North Hills Community Baptist Church. Important to note, this is a queer-affirming Baptist church, and they do some really good community work in the area.

The entry fee is $1 or a canned good which will go into the local food bank.

Find some seasonal decor, or get some early holiday shopping done!

Chickpea has never been able to access a gongfu set before, and tonight while i was making some shu puer for Carson Michael Hollis and myself, she started sniffing at the set.
I have let her sniff at my teacups before, but this is the first time she was able to see the whole thing. I think she was a little captivated.

It's not a crowded month, but its a fun one! I love October, because it's usually the first full month where the weather is actually autumn.

This Saturday (10/10) catch me at the The Downtown Market of Kittanning to find some nice teas, maybe even some as-yet-unreleased flavors!

I'll be teaching my Introduction class at The Soft Spot PGH, which will be followed up next month with an exploration of a particular color tea!

On Saturday the 17th, you can find me back up in New Castle with the The New Castle Prism Initiative at their Haunted Harvest!

The 24th, I'll be vending at North Hills Community Baptist Church for their Autumn Craft Fair! They are an LGBTQ+ affirming Baptist church! Feel free to DM me about it!

And to round out the month, I've got some appearances at Abeille Voyante Tea Co ! I am still working on designing a new class to debut at AV, so stay tuned for details!

Introducing: Carson's Cuppa!

My husband Carson Michael Hollis drinks a cup of Earl Grey with breakfast every morning (sometimes instead of breakfast if he's in a rush 🤣). As a tea peddler, I couldn't stand the thought that I didn't have his favorite kind of tea. So I set out and found a source of bergamot peel and blended it with a nice Assam tea to produce a gong fu-able, rebrewable, Earl Grey clone for the Steep Valley Catalog.

It's had some time at some markets before it got put on the site, so go check it out!

(Oh, and Houjicha is also now on the online store, but I didn't invent that one for my husband.)

Seminary year two has begun, and that means its time to slow down my appearances a little bit.

I'm taking an overload at school this semester, so most of my focus will be on classes and service events, as opposed to vendor fairs. You'll still see me pop up occasionally at markets, but it will be a little while before you see me doing 3 markets per weekend again.

My last appearance at the Neighbors In New Castle market is this Saturday, so please come and stop by to support this wonderful market in an adorable town!

Brookline Pride is coming with an off-season Pride celebration that I am super excited for!

The I Made It! Market at the Waterfront is an event that I keep meaning to go to and then always having something scheduled over it, so I am excited to be part of it this month!

And I'll be doing a day of tea service during Millvale Days over at Abeille Voyante Tea Co, as well as running my introduction class there on the 26th! Tickets are available from the link in the comments!

Introduction to Gong Fu Cha went over wonderfully last night! We got to talk through a bunch of teas (we actually had to shift to an herbal because we were all getting so caffeinated), and everyone got to practice steeping and pouring teas!
