This is the original Rebel Dog Coffee Co. located on Route 10 in Plainville. This location, unlike any other, operates both as a coffee shop and a tavern. You can find our standard menu of coffee, breakfast, and lunch options, as well as wood-fired pizza, an exclusive brunch menu, full bar, and more! In Plainville, you will find plenty of parking as well as a heated all-weather deck to enjoy, rain or shine.

We couldn’t be more stoked to welcome The Plourd Brewery to the neighborhood in East Hartford—Tyler and Melissa (and Benny!) are creating such a special space here with great small batch brews, and now you can grab a can of Rebel Dog cold brew in their tap room, too! Many, endless congratulations are in order for Amy and Alec, who recently got engaged! The couple’s very first date was at Rebel Dog in East Hartford, followed by sledding at a park in Hartford (ummmm, cutest date ever!?), since at the time Amy was living in Massachusetts and Alec in Connecticut, making it the perfect half-way meeting point.

Thank you so much to for sharing these gorgeous photos, and to for capturing such lovely moments!

It is mind boggling in the absolute best way possible to know that our little coffee shops could have such important roles in people’s lives. We đŸ€ love, we love the communities we’ve built around Rebel Dog, and we are so grateful for these reminders of why we really do what we do every day.
