Just saw this, we made the honor roll at prairie fresh, thank you for recognizing us. We are now part of the cool kids.

We made the list for the 2nd time, look at all these mid Tn teams. Competing against them makes you a better team. Keep cooking and evolving it took me sometime to figure that out. Hard headed is not the place to be.

Today was a good day even with a rough cook. No excuses just exhausted, Tried something different, but it cost us. I put 7 thighs in the box and the judges told me what they thought. Not good, I wont ever do that again. Ribs were good, but landed us in the middle. Only saving grace was the pork. Judges loved it.

Thanks to all that continue to support me. My son Josh who has put a lot of time in helping me get the trailer done. My wife Kim Richards Maskill who has been a rockstar at comps this year. African Charcoal Company for keeping the drum fed putting that great flavor into my pork.

Come on Friday, this was the first comp we ever did. I heard there are 34 teams this year. Outstanding!!
