"When it was built in 1869, it replaced the earlier 1838 lighthouse. Its Coast Guard service was ended in 1954.[3] It is currently managed by the non-profit Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy which purchased the lighthouse in 1986 and has restored it. The conservancy manages the nature trail leading to the lighthouse, offers two bed and breakfast rooms and public tours. Friends, please Read.. Our beloved dog, and member of the family, Stitch needs your help. After almost two weeks of randomly screaming in pain and several trips to the vet struggling to figure out what's causing his discomfort, his doctors have now discovered that he has some severe spine abnormalities that could lead to much bigger problems. We're headed to the neurologist next week to start with a $5000 mri and the bills will only pile up from there. Every little bit helps and It only takes a few seconds to share and from the very bottom of our hearts, we REALLY appreciate your support ~ Scott, Sabrina, & Stitch 🙏.

Have you heard? has a BEAUTIFUL new tasting room and event space now open in Queensbury, NY!! It was such a pleasure to be a part of their ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday. Attended by over 150 local government officials, members of the business community, family, friends, and business partners, it was a picture perfect day for a grand opening party! After visiting their tasting room in Lake George last year we fell in love with everything that Adirondack Winery has going on. If your looking for a great time and a unique wine tasting experience, look no further. They have a wine for everyone in all the best flavors so why not try them all? As promised, here is part 2 of 2 of the post. So... you're looking to visit the great lake George, maybe spend a night or two, but don't want to be smack in the middle of all the lake George hustle n bustle.. Look no further than the The Bond 1786 Inn! Located just about 20 minutes from Lake George, this 10 room boutique Inn is the crown jewel of the quaint little town of Warrensburg, NY and each room features its own wood burning fireplace! Good thing to keep in mind with ski season just around the corner and several incredible mountains so close! If you want to bring your little buddy along, like we did, , make sure to ask for the Queen room.
