Good morning!

Brunch is back! Did you know every week we feature a rotating flavor mimosa for only $5?!? This week we have mango coconut!

Weekly frittata is Garden Mornay-tomato, scallions, and garlic topped with cheese sauce!

We are still running the Brie, apple, and caramelized onion sandwich- have it lunch style, or make it a breakfast sandwich with fried egg and/or bacon!

It’s a lovely morning to have brunch while changing the world-one meal with dignity at a time!

It’s been a year of ups and downs, uncertainty, being vulnerable, having to be in front of a camera (boooo), making friends, overcoming fears, living on Cajun food because we can’t afford to eat anywhere else, meeting the BEST people, shrugging off the worst, breaking down, picking up the pieces, feeling good helping others, feeling grateful for everyone who helped us, and just cooking some damn good food!!!

And we are STILL HERE! In no small part thanks to all of you!! So come celebrate us while we celebrate YOU!

We have music. We have food. We have drinks. We have raffle prizes. It’s Saturday night and there is no better place to be!

All ages. Free buffet, donations appreciated but not necessary. No cover. Pay Bar.

Tonight!!

Join us for our 1st Thursday open mic! Hosted by and (for their last mic before surgery & recovery)

We start sign ups at 5:30, mic begins around 6:15…. If you show up you’re gonna go up!

It is a mixed mic and all our welcome! Come show us what ya got! Spectators also welcome.

All ages, no cover, pay-what-you-can Cajun menu, cocktails and mocktails available for purchase!

This mic gets more fun every month, make sure to catch it!

ONE YEAR of free and low cost meals, no questions asked (before it was cool and viral)

ONE YEAR of mutual aid.

ONE YEAR of music, art, comedy, and poetry.

ONE YEAR of building community.

We say it often and mean it always: we can’t do this without you!! This anniversary belongs to all of us, and we want to spend it with y’all!

Join us for a night of music, community building, art, food, and drink!

$20 suggested donation for food and a raffle ticket, but no one will be turned away, and everyone is always welcome to eat!

It’s so close, we can’t believe it’s been a year already!

Come celebrate with us!! We will have a fantastic buffet, an anniversary cocktail menu (including the return of the Hurricane!), mocktails, a raffle (1st ticket is free, just for showing up!), art table and kids corner, and live music!

Some of our favorite folks will be joining us… our MC and raffle master and live music by .mendenhall.music and

We will happily accept donations for food and attendance…. But MOST IMPORTANTLY we want to celebrate you - our community! Please show up regardless of ability to pay- this isn’t a fundraiser-it’s a party!

Tomorrow we are having a shindig to celebrate and help our favorite MC, Host, DM, and dog sitter as he gets ready for spinal surgery!! You may know Pat from his monthly open mic, stand-up, or dungeon master skills!

Did you know if an illegally disabled person tries to fund-raise for the time they’re in recovery for major medical procedures it counts as income,
and it could hurt their chances of getting approved for legal disability?

Anyways,
in a completely unrelated note,

There’s gonna be live comedy & music, as well as an art auction, drinks, N/A drinks, and more.

We are featuring a mocktail (that you can turn into a cocktail) called Escape From Capitalism (also, unrelated). All proceeds will benefit (but not monetarily) Pat in his recovery!

Community care starts (and ends) with us showing up for each other. Pat needs some community right now-so let’s show up!!

We had a slooooow holiday weekend! Not entirely unexpected, but hard on us right before rent time!

It would be an EXCELLENT time to become a monthly donor! We currently get about $200 a month in monthly donations, which is soooo helpful. BUT if 25% of our followers could give just $5 a month…. It would put us on firm footing!

Community works best when we all give a little!

We can’t do this without you!
