Between chasing my littles, working full time, caring for our property, and life, I somehow found a love for baking sourdough. Accepted Payment: Cash & Venmo

I want to share my love of homemmade goods with others!

Baby bunnies! We have 2 litters in the boxes and hoping for a third. 4th litter should land in a few more weeks. These are the first bred off our breeders! So excited and hoping mama’s continue to care for all of them. Shadow had 10 whooping kits in her first litter! Oreo has 6 with a major chunk in the crew. Here’s to Stella-we’re waiting to know if she has her babies tonight or tomorrow! Or if she’s a miss for her first try.

Well we did it again! We added a pedigreed breeding trio of Silver Fox rabbits! The black is Layla-who is hopefully pregnant! The sweet breeder we got her from offered to breed her before we picked her up! The blue is Willow and the chocolate is our sweet curious new buck named Tucker!

Here’s to hoping my sexing and ratio is right this time. We butchered a small batch today and lo and behold when I went through my older layers I found extra roo’s I didn’t know were roo’s!

Loving the colors!

It’s a multi tasking kind of processing day. Zuchinni chips in the dehydrator, pickles going in the canner, and our experiment this season-zuchinni in pineapple juice. Supposedly it makes substitute pineapple, we will see!

I’ve been avoiding picking the full garden because I’ve been inundated with produce, which isn’t a bad thing but there’s multiple 5 gallon buckets in our basement/refrigerator that I need to process. Hopefully I’ll get to it this week!

Our big beautiful Turdley! He’s currently enjoying his time at freezer camp (met his maker last weekend) and we’re SO looking forward to the cuts of meat he blessed us with!

This year was a late ditch effort on the garden that has paid off! Never did I think I could get the garden looking like this! It’s taken years to learn, practice, change plans, pull weeds, till/cultivate, a few pigs, and plenty of sweat and tears to get it to this stage. It’s producing fantastic but don’t forget or compare please because outside that garden gate are broken baby gates, empty water tanks, rotten pallets, a spring/fall garden box area with a deer fencing netting that’s barely holding on after chickens, turkeys, deer, and children have had their ways with it this season. Oh and a way overgrown fence line for that pretty garden. But oh do I love the prettiness and the messiness all at the same time! Wouldn’t have it any other way!

Green bean tipping and a comfy blanket tonight!

5lbs picked tonight! I love it when your plants hit their stride. Also really loving this July 4th garden planting this year. What we thought was a late last ditch effort has been fantastic in having time to actually maintain the garden!

Due to our lovely wet spring, 98% of our tomato plants washed out. So I cheated and purchased 150lbs of canning tomatoes and split them with our neighbor! First up for my house was plain canned tomatoes. On the list today to make-fresh salsa!
