Today is the last Sunday market at Zumbro, and I was low-key wondering what Mango Thai was going to feed me. 🤣

And then… THEY BROUGHT ME CONGEE! They said, “This weather is calling for congee.” 🥹❤️

Not just any plain congee. This was slow-simmered with ribs and ginger, topped with some green onions, cilantro, and white pepper(white pepper is the key!), with salted duck eggs on the side. 🤤

It reminded me so much of my mom’s cooking. The one she made when I was sick or when the weather was chilly. 🥹❤️

My heart and belly are so full. Thank you Zumbro Sunday Market for the great season, and thank you, Mango Thai, for feeding me with so much love. You have no idea how much this little bowl of comfort means to me. ❤️
