“Women in the food and beverage industry don’t need more ‘networking’—they need access, visibility, and rooms that actually move careers and businesses forward.” – Angela Dodd, Founder & CEO, Females in Food

Females in Food was built for women who are already doing the work, but not always in the rooms where decisions and opportunities happen. The goal isn’t noise. It’s traction.

Traction looks like new roles, new deals, and new relationships across the food and beverage value chain.

That’s the work we’re focused on inside Females in Food: ambitious women, real conversations, and the kind of access that changes what’s possible next.

If you’re a woman in F&B who wants to be in more of those rooms, follow along or click here to learn more about the community. 👉 https://femalesinfood.community

Meet the companies helping power this year's Summer Soirée.

✨ Tastewise is the AI-powered consumer intelligence platform trusted by many of the world's leading food & beverage companies to understand what consumers are eating, ordering, cooking, and craving next.

From innovation and product development to marketing and commercial strategy, Tastewise helps brands move faster with real-time consumer insights. At the Summer Soirée, they'll bring those trends to life through a custom perfume experience inspired by flavor, scent storytelling, and emerging consumer behaviors shaping the future of food.

✨ HealthSense® High-Fiber Wheat Flour, a Bay State Milling innovation, is helping redefine what's possible in better-for-you food formulation.

Made from naturally high-fiber white wheat flour, HealthSense delivers significantly more fiber while maintaining the taste, texture, and performance consumers expect. Throughout the evening, guests will experience HealthSense featured across multiple menu applications—demonstrating how nutrition and enjoyment can go hand in hand.

We're proud to partner with organizations that are helping shape the future of food—and bringing that innovation directly into the Summer Soirée experience.

One of the biggest opportunities for food & beverage brands right now is creating content that answers the exact questions consumers are already asking AI.

Not just:

“Who are we as a company?”

But:

👉️ What’s the healthiest protein brand for women?
👉️ What ingredients support gut health?
👉️ What are the best sustainable snack brands?
👉️ What products are non-GMO and allergen friendly?

During our recent roundtable with Approach Marketing, we discussed how AI visibility is increasingly tied to:

- FAQ-style content
- Long-tail search phrasing
- Educational articles
- Consistent messaging across channels

Brands that become the clearest answer will win visibility.

Last week, our Southern California community came together at Moulin for an evening of great food, meaningful conversation, and new connections.

Hosted by FIF Southern California Ambassador Taylor Clarke, the gathering brought together women from across the food and beverage industry—including leaders in food and beverage recruitment, ingredient sourcing, specialty food production, regenerative farming, artisanal sourdough retail, and nationally recognized culinary brands.

The diversity of experiences around the table sparked valuable conversations, fresh perspectives, and new opportunities for collaboration.

These local meet-ups are a powerful reminder that community is built one conversation at a time.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we can’t wait to see you at the next one.

💡 What she's building.

At Females in Food, we're constantly inspired by the women in our community who are creating, leading, and reimagining what's possible across industries.

This month, we're spotlighting two founders building businesses rooted in strategy, connection, and long-term impact.

✨ Jenica Oliver is expanding blueprint marketing group, llc, a fractional CMO practice that provides embedded marketing leadership to consumer product organizations. Through strategic advisory, CMO sprints, and retail readiness audits, she's helping growing brands gain access to the caliber of marketing leadership needed to compete, scale, and secure shelf space alongside category leaders.

✨ 🍑Edie Weintraub -Retail Restaurant Real Estate is growing terra alma info, a boutique advisory studio helping developers, municipalities, and emerging brands create vibrant, people-first places through retail strategy and placemaking. Her work centers on building more connected, walkable communities where people and businesses can thrive.

Different industries. Different expertise.

A shared commitment to building something meaningful.

Join us in celebrating Jenica and Edie and the impact they're creating through their work.

External networks aren’t about chasing the next job.

They’re about staying relevant — and useful — to the business.

External networks help you:

➡️ See around corners with real‑time industry insight
➡️ Expand your thinking beyond your company’s walls
➡️ Strengthen your influence inside and outside the organization
➡️ Drive business development and deal flow
➡️ Build partnerships that accelerate growth
➡️ Increase your strategic visibility with the people who make decisions

The most powerful career asset isn’t just confidence.

It’s access to the right rooms, conversations, and people.
