At La Casita, our story is deeply rooted in Puerto Rico. Our founder, Jo, grew up cooking alongside his mom, learning traditional Puerto Rican recipes passed down through generations. Starting from the bottom as a line cook, Jo worked his way up to becoming an executive chef, refining his culinary skills over the past 10-15 years in professional kitchens in Santa Barbara and San Diego.

Now, with La Casita, Jo and his mom are bringing these authentic Puerto Rican flavors to San Diego through their ghost kitchen. Join us in celebrating the warmth and tradition of Puerto Rico, right here in San Diego!
