People often ask me why I started Shugcuterie. The truth is, I’ve always been the one planning the gatherings, obsessing over the little details, and finding joy in bringing people together. Creating experiences where people feel welcomed, connected, and celebrated has always come naturally to me.
Living in Wine Country, I realized I could turn that passion into something bigger by creating a fresh, interactive charcuterie experience that felt just as memorable as the events themselves. I wanted every plate to be prepared fresh throughout the event and every interaction to reflect genuine hospitality, because I believe the experience is just as important as the food.
Watching this idea grow from a dream into something embraced by wineries, businesses, couples, and community organizations has been more rewarding than I ever imagined. Knowing we’re helping event coordinators and hosts create meaningful guest experiences through fresh, interactive, full-service hospitality—while giving them one less detail to manage—brings me so much joy. Seeing people gather, connect, and genuinely enjoy the experience reminds me every day why I started Shugcuterie.
