Everyone needs to give the sky a thumbs up for delivering some much needed rain.

In addition to some relief from an ongoing drought, the rain has brought some of fall's best edible mushrooms into bloom.

In the past few days I've found:
- Chicken of the Woods (Laetiporus sulphureus)
- Shrimp of the Woods (Entoloma Abortivum)
- Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus)
- Hemlock Reishi (Ganoderma tsugae)

Go outside and enjoy the rain.

The first ever Pawpaw Festival in Duncansville, PA was an excellent time! The event closes at 4pm today so there's still time to visit.

All Things Wild got to meet and mingle with vendors, artists, conservationists and plenty of other people. We were invited to do some seminars and begin planning to participate in many future events with many like minded people.

Here's the loot we came home with:
- An Inaugural Pawpaw Festival shirt and challenge coin
- free seeds from the local seed swap program
- 10 pawpaw tree seedlings
- 6 pawpaw tree seeds
- a free Spotted Lanternfly trap (courtesy of the Blair County Conservation District)
- several local and upcycled crafts
- pawpaw cream sodas and pawpaw smoothies
- samples of local kombucha, honey, herbs, and micro greens

And most importantly

- ***FIVE POUNDS OF PAWPAW FRUIT***

We hope to see you there next year and maybe by then we will have our own booth!

TOMORROW IS THE FIRST PAWPAW FEST!

Go to Duncansville Memorial Park and experience North America's largest native fruit. It tastes like a blend of bananas, mangoes, and melons and it is ridiculously delicious.

Conservation and environmental awareness takes a group effort and All Things Wild will be there with some free ass hickory syrup ❤️
