Mid(life) summer dreams…whole fried snapper, sister-sent cheese plate on a breezy patio, birthday week with my love, ocean waves for a few days, three Cuban dessert specialties (Quattro leches!! walnut strawberry pavlova!!), nieces who give sparkly pedicures, lazy sun porch Sundays, a four-way with a bib (no shame in my pastel clothing game), field-side fireworks to agigate my nerves.

Mexico City bites - the ones I took photos of were mostly of the chilaquiles varietals.
- The Fideo Chilaquiles with Salsa Verde was delicious and I absolutely fell in love with all the fresh juice blends and fresh fruit and coconut blends

Our newest bite, inspired by the confectionary counters (the first time I saw glass cases full of stuffed dates for sell I knew I had to come back and create a signature Maddox Lane option 🩵). Our Dubai Date Bites are made with Arizona grown large Medjool dates, filled with pistachio birds nest phyllo pastry & pistachio butter, finished with 60% dark chocolate and chopped pistachio.
